It began with a simple idea.

Yacht clubs are built on people, traditions, and decades of accumulated knowledge. HarbourHub was created to help preserve that knowledge, support the volunteers and leaders who keep clubs running, and provide one secure operational home for the information that matters most.

Why HarbourHub Was Created

HarbourHub wasn't created because someone wanted to build another club management system.

It was created by someone who has spent a career improving the way organizations operate.

After becoming actively involved in yacht club life, one thing became clear: the challenges weren't unique—they were organizational.

Important information was scattered across spreadsheets, emails, filing cabinets, and personal computers. Institutional knowledge often lived with volunteers rather than the club itself. Each new Board or committee inherited responsibility, but not always the history behind the decisions.

Those observations became the foundation for HarbourHub.

By combining decades of operational experience with an appreciation for how volunteer-led yacht clubs function, HarbourHub was designed to preserve continuity, reduce administrative burden, and help every generation of club leaders build on the work of those who came before.
